Buffalo Days-Yahoo!

On June 7 I was honored to be present at the LaMoille-Clarion District library dedication during the city's annual Buffalo Days celebration.

We had a wonderful time eating an Elephant ear pastry while watching a great parade. Then of course we had to have a Buffalo Burger and some Cole Slaw.  It just stands to reason that had to be followed with a slice of pie from the Church Ladies stand. (One of us had "his" alamode!)

I was welcomed at the library by Carol Sampo, Library Board President and the kind and knowledgeable staff while they finished organizing for the ceremony of dedication.

Library Board Secretary,Patti Sadnick, delivered an introduction speech to a packed library. This was followed by a short and informative talk given by Bob Scully, a descendent of the woman to whom the libraries new addition is dedicated: Edith Scully Minnick.  Following this I had the rare opportunity to speak with a great many very nice people as well as sign a few books.  I enjoyed myself immensely!
